History of Felsinee Spa is linked to 'Pozzo the Devil, 'which was so named by local farmers because its water is rich in minerals, plants did die. From this source, through a pipe nearly 2 km long, are still drawn from waters rich in sulfate, sulfur and calcium, used at the Centre.
There are two types of healing waters:
- the bicarbonate-sulphate-calcium forms who treat arthritis and rheumatism, have diuretic effects and facilitate the elimination of uric acid, the value healing of such water is recognized by the Ministry of Health
- sulphurous waters however highly recommended for the treatment inhalation and insufflation entotympanic and for the treatment of pathologies related to bone decalcification and muscle spasms.
